You can shift the neckline, define the waist with a belt, or turn the sweater the other way round. The changes are slight, but then you do not require a transformation. A few precise touches are entirely enough when your style has already been found.
You know how to be attentive without becoming available, and cordial without any obligation to continue the acquaintance. A rare art. Most people either fling the doors open or slam them shut with such force that the neighbours lose the thread of the conversation. You simply decide whom to let in.
