The Story
The coffee is finished and you are getting ready to leave. While you put on the hat, your friend has time to inspect the pompom, touch the pink bouclé, and work out how the snood turns. At the table, she was absolutely certain that things like this did not suit her. By the door, she is ready to double-check.
You adjust the wide fold-up brim and generously allow yourself to be inspected from every angle. Deep purple, dusty rose, matte bouclé beside smooth knit — your friend suddenly has some very specific questions. The large tousled pompom attracts particular attention. This is usually exactly how people look at things they would never wear.
The snood is joined into a loop but keeps the corners of a square folded diagonally. Turn it slightly and there is more pink around the face while the purple shifts onto the shoulders. Or the other way round. You demonstrate both versions; your friend studies the second one thoughtfully. The colours are already beginning to suit her.
The set is soft and dense, the hat stretches, and the width of the fold-up brim can be adjusted. The snood slips on in a single loop, without lengthy negotiations with the mirror. Eventually, you do leave. On the way, one small correction is added to her previous categorical opinion: with her coat, this might actually look rather good too.
Berry Bliss
Berry Bliss is a soft, dense set with a hat, a large tousled pompom, and a diagonal single-loop snood. Dusty rose, deep purple, and matte bouclé — for those moments when “that would never suit me” suddenly sounds much less convincing.
