The phrase “we’ll be ready in a minute” was spoken by a human, so he distrusted it immediately. He has done his part: offered all four paws one by one, waited while three buttons were fastened under his belly, and allowed the high collar to be folded down. The tail is free, everything important has been taken care of — time to go.

For some reason, the human is still walking around the flat. First looking for the keys, then the phone, then the keys again, although they have been lying next to each other the whole time. A few minutes later, the animal demonstratively lies down by the door. Not because he has changed his mind. A soft warm jumpsuit simply makes it possible to wait in comfort while the biped finally manages to deal with only two sleeves.
