The Story

Ghostly Waves is built on exactly that. Fine sandy mohair nearly disappears on the skin, leaving only a hint, a breath, a half-tone. The openwork contrast – blue in one light, emerald in another – moves across the silhouette asymmetrically, in fragments, with that beautiful inconsistency which always looks more expensive than anything obvious.

The openwork insert here is like a small, very beautiful reservation in a perfectly constructed sentence. The hemline is shifted, the areas of colour are arranged as if neatness had been considered bad taste from the beginning. There is so much taste in this slight irregularity that everything ordinary beside it begins to look short of imagination.

Mohair gives near-bodily weightlessness. Acrylic holds the shape. Together they create a rare sensation: as if the sweater were present selectively. Exactly where it is truly needed. Wear it back to front – and the composition shifts, like the intonation in a conversation after which everything sounds different.

Wear it as you see fit.

Ghostly Waves. Almost unnoticed. Perfectly exact.

Never Standard: Back to Front. One turn – and the familiar composition looks different.

Silhouette: M+L. A size in which freedom does not look accidental.

Season: Amber Autumn, Cozy Winter, Edge of Seasons, Spring Breeze. For times that call for silence, air, and a slight distance.
